MAKKAH — Police in Makkah arrested an illegal resident from the African country of Mali following a complaint about sending a threatening message to a young woman through a social media application.

The man is reported to have threatened the young woman with offensive words.

The police said that legal measures were taken against the man and he was then referred to the Public Prosecution.
