NAIROBI — Saudi Arabia’s embassy in Nairobi has clarified the allegation that went viral recently on social media regarding the mistreatment of a Kenyan woman resident in the Kingdom.

The embassy confirmed that it has followed up on the case and has found out that the woman did not face any mistreatment, rather, she had a health condition.

It also noted that the Kenyan embassy in the Kingdom knows about the woman's case and health condition.

The embassy has confirmed Saudi Arabia’s keenness in protecting all the rights of residents, of all nationalities, who live in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia follow laws that are strict toward all the practices that could harm and violate the human dignity, whoever they are, the embassy said.
