King Salman receives letter from Chinese president

RIYADH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman has received a letter from President Xi Jinping of the People's Republic of China regarding the solid and close bilateral relations that connect the two countries and peoples and means to develop them in all fields.

The President expressed his country’s support for Saudi Arabia’s bid to host World Expo 2030 in Riyadh.

On behalf of Prince Faisal bin Farhan bin Abdullah, Minister of Foreign Affairs, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Waleed bin Abdulkarim Al-Khuraiji received the letter at the ministry’s headquarters on Monday while meeting Ambassador of China to Saudi Arabia Chen Weiqing.

During the meeting, both sides went over bilateral relations, means to enhance them in various fields, and exchanged views on issues of mutual interest. — SPA
