DAMMAM — Al-Khobar Criminal Court has sentenced a 30-year-old citizen to 5 years imprisonment for sexually harassing a 16-year-old juvenile.

The accused denied knowing the victim and pleaded not guilty of the crime of harassment.

The court took a visual record as digital evidence to prove the incident, according to Law of Evidence, with CCTV showing the convicted walking side by side with the victim in an attempt to harassment him.

The court imposed a maximum sentence in the anti-harassment law, sentencing the accused to 5 years in prison.

According to the court, the sentenced citizen must publish the summary of the verdict in two local newspapers at his own expense.
