RIYADH — King Abdulaziz City for Science and Technology (KACST) and Intel on Thursday signed a memorandum of understanding in the field of computing, AI and robotics, on the sidelines of the 2nd Global AI Summit that is organized by the Saudi Data and AI Authority in Riyadh.
The signing ceremony was attended by KACST President Dr. Munir Al-Dusouqi, while the memo was signed by Intel Director General Ahmad Al-Abd Al-Jabbar and KACST Vice President for Future Economics Sector Dr. Mariam Nouh.
The agreement seeks to increase the operational efficiency of computing, where Intel will provide KACST with information on future plans and developments for the company's processors and Intel productions in emerging technologies.
The partnership seeks to increase awareness on AI through awareness and training programs, offering consultation in IT and data solutions and end user equipment, challenges of product accountability and digital elements. — SPA
