Injured young Saudi woman airlifted from Turkey

JEDDAH A young Saudi woman who sustained injuries after falling from the window of an apartment building in Istanbul, Turkiye, airlifted to Saudi Arabia.

The consulate in Istanbul announced on Saturday that the young woman, who fell from the window of the ninth floor of the residential apartment building, was airlifted in a medical evacuation plane.

This is in implementation of the directives of the wise leadership and follow-up of Minister of Foreign Affairs Prince Faisal bin Farhan, the consulate said in a statement on its official Twitter account.

The consul and members of the Saudi consulate in Istanbul were in the airport to see off the Saudi air ambulance, which transferred the young woman on board during its flight from Istanbul to Saudi Arabia, the consulate said while wishing speedy recovery for the citizen.
