NEW YORK — Foreign Minister Prince Faisal Bin Farhan and Belize Foreign Minister Eamon Courtenay signed a draft protocol for establishing diplomatic relations between the two countries.

Prince Faisal met the Prime Minister of Belize John Briceño on the sidelines of the 77th annual session of the United Nations General Assembly in New York on Saturday.

During the meeting, they reviewed bilateral relations between the two countries and opportunities to develop them. They also exchanged views on issues of common interest.
