RIYADH — Events for the 92nd Saudi National Day has reached more than 870 events and shows in a new record number, the General Entertainment Authority (GEA) announced on Monday.

The number of permits issued for events on the occasion of the National Day is distributed over the Kingdom’s regions, where the Riyadh region topped the largest number of licenses with 303 permits, followed by Makkah region with 207 permits, then the Eastern region with 159 permits.

The number of permits in Asir 42, Qassim 32, Jazan 31, Tabuk 27, Madinah 24, and Hail and Jouf 13 permits each. The number of permits was 9 in Al-Baha, 6 in Najran, and 4 in the Northern Borders. — SG
