MEXICO CITY — Minister of Culture Prince Badr Bin Abdullah Bin Farhan has participated in the opening of International Alliance for the Protection of Heritage in Conflict Areas (ALIPH).

Entitled “Culture for Peace”, ALIPH was held within the activities of the UNESCO World Conference on Cultural Policies and Sustainable Development — MONDIACULT 2022, in the Mexican capital, Mexico City, from Sept. 28 to 30, 2022.

ALIPH highlights a number of the World Heritage sites that have been endangered by conflicts.

It also reflects the importance of heritage protection's projects in creating jobs opportunities and strengthen community cohesion. — SPA
