KUWAIT — An Amiri decree was issued on Sunday accepting the resignation of Kuwait's Prime Minister Shaikh Ahmad Nawaf Al Ahmad Al Sabah's government and instructed the Cabinet to act as a caretaker government until a new government is formed.

Earlier on Sunday, the Crown Prince Shaikh Mishal Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah received Sheikh Ahmad Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah, who tendered the Cabinet's resignation.
