Presidency launches Tawqeer initiative for elderly people

MAKKAH — The General Presidency for the Affairs of the Two Holy Mosques, represented by the social, voluntary and humanitarian services, has launched Tawqeer (Elderly Care) initiative, through which several programs and services are provided for the elderly people to enable them to perform their rituals in ease and comfort and enrich their experience.

The Presidency’s President Sheikh Dr. Abdulrahman Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sudais affirmed the Presidency’s keenness to provide the best social, voluntary and humanitarian services to the pilgrims and take care of them, while applying preventive measures, following health instructions and providing them with a safe and healthy environment in the Grand Mosque. — SPA
