Saudi, Bahraini interior ministers co-chair security and military committee meeting

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia's Interior Minister Prince Abdulaziz Bin Saud bin Naif and his Bahraini counterpart Gen. Shaikh Rashid Bin Abdullah Al Khalifa co-chaired in Riyadh the second meeting of the Security and Military Committee.

During the meeting which was held at the Ministry of Interior's headquarters, Prince Abdulaziz praised the Saudi-Bahraini relationship which works to preserve the interests of the two countries. He added that the meeting is a continuing effort to strengthen cooperation and coordination in the security field for the common interest.

The Bahraini interior minister stated that the relationship between the two Kingdoms contributes to enhancing the strength of the security bond. He affirmed the outstanding contacts between the interior ministries in Saudi Arabia and Bahrain, which witness tangible development.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed topics on the agenda and adopted necessary recommendations and initiatives.

A cooperation agreement in the security field was signed between the Saudi Arabia and Bahrain governments during the meeting.
