TRIPOLI — The Saudi Ambassador to Lebanon Waleed Bukhari has reiterated the Kingdom's keenness on the security and stability of Lebanon.

Bukhari made the remarks when the Lebanese MP Maj. Gen. Ashraf Rifi received him on Saturday.

He indicated that Saudi Arabia affirms the priority of the supreme interest over temporary interests.

He stated that, at this stage, Lebanon is on the cusp of a presidential entitlement, stressing the importance of respecting the constitutional deadlines.

"Our concern for Lebanon's stability requires us to bear this joint responsibility towards it."

In another context, Bukhari praised the people of Tripoli, stressing their constant generosity.

He also affirmed the deep love that the Saudi people carry for the people of Tripoli and the north of Lebanon.
