RIYADH — Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met on Monday in Riyadh with Dr. Rashad Mohamed Al-Alimi, President of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council.

The minister of defense conveyed the greetings of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman and Crown Prince Mohammed bin Salman to the President and members of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council, wishing the friendly Yemeni people steady security, stability and peace.

For his part, the President of Yemen's Presidential Leadership Council sent his greetings to the Saudi leadership.

During the meeting, they reviewed issues of concern in addition to the latest developments in the Yemeni arena and the outlook for the future.

The minister confirmed the support of the alliance, led by Saudi Arabia, for all efforts being exerted to bring about security, peace and stability in Yemen, in a way that guarantees to end the Yemeni crisis and reach an inclusive political solution to transform the country to peace and development. — SPA
