DUBAI — Locatel, a leading integrator of internet, mobile and TV solutions for the hospitality industry, has launched Mobility solutions at The Hotel Show in Dubai.

Mobility is a range of mobile solutions and applications for improving hotel customers’ experiences and increasing hotel revenues.  During the show, Locatel will be in Hall 8 at stand C230 to present the latest generation of the multilingual mobile applications ‘Lobby’, ‘In Room’ and ‘Companion’, three applications which meet the needs of luxury hotels and capitalise on its TV and internet solutions.

Hoteliers understand that the increased use of digital devices and web communication technologies bring a multitude of ways to interact directly with guests.  This gives hotels real opportunities to be present on their customers’ mobile devices, to communicate personally with them, to improve service quality and increase revenues on ancillary services.

These mobile applications reduce the customers’ dependence on the major online booking companies and encourage more direct reservations.  Moreover the hotel’s e-reputation and guest comments posted can be managed in a more interactive and dynamic way.

With these considerations in mind, Locatel has developed Mobility by Locatel, a range of premium mobile applications with intuitive interfaces which provide end users with access to a multitude of contents and services.

Designed to liven up public areas such as the lobby, bar and business center, Lobby Companion is an application for customers and visitors running on tablets. This 3-in-1 application provides information on the hotel and its services, local tourist attractions and access to the internet in a fun and interactive way. An application designed for tablets and installed on hotel devices will provide access to a large choice of exclusive and innovative in-room services. – SG
