Minister of Defense meets Yemeni counterpart

RIYADH — Minister of Defense Prince Khalid bin Salman met on Wednesday with Yemeni Defense Minister Lieutenant-General Mohsen Mohammed Al-Daeri.

During the meeting, they discussed joint cooperation between the two fraternal countries in the military and defense fields, and the efforts of the United Nations to extend the truce to alleviate the suffering of the fraternal Yemeni people, in addition to discussing future steps to deal with potential changes.

Prince Khalid affirmed the continuation of the coalition led by the Kingdom to support the Yemeni government and people, and to advance the efforts made to end the Yemeni crisis, and to meet the aspirations of the Yemeni people for peace and stability.

Also, Prince Khalid received a phone call from the British Secretary of State for Defense Ben Wallace.

They reviewed the strategic relations between Saudi Arabia and the United Kingdom.

They also discussed the bilateral cooperation between the two friendly countries in the military and defense field, and ways to enhance it, in addition to discussing the latest developments of regional and international events, and the efforts made towards them. — SPA
