King, Crown Prince congratulate Dr. Rashid on his election and taking oath as Iraq president

JEDDAH — Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on the occasion of his election and taking the constitutional oath as President of the Republic of Iraq.

In his cable, the King said: "On the occasion of your election and taking the constitutional oath as president of the Republic of Iraq, we are pleased to send to Your Excellency the most sincere congratulations and best wishes, praising the distinguished fraternal relations between our two brotherly countries and peoples, which we seek to strengthen and develop in all fields. We wish Your Excellency success and the brotherly people of the Republic of Iraq further progress and prosperity."

Crown Prince Mohammed Bin Salman, prime minister, too sent a cable of congratulations to Dr. Abdul Latif Jamal Rashid on the occasion of his election and taking the constitutional oath as president of the Republic of Iraq.
