RIYADH — The Saudi Arabian Football Federation (SAFF) launched Sunday the unified visual identity “Giddam” for Saudi team fans participating in the 2022 FIFA World Cup, scheduled to be held in Qatar between November 20 and Dec. 18, 2022.

Launching the identity is part of the SAFF’s preparations to support the national team and help fans to support the national team in its coming matches, in addition to providing all circumstances to support the players as well as the technical and administrative staff.

Giddam, in spoken Saudi dialect, means “no retreat in the upcoming mission, and heading forwards to it with determination” and the word shows full desire to support, where the theme combines two artistic and pronunciation symbols that aim to create proper atmosphere for the national team during its global mission at FIFA World Cup 2022 in Qatar.
