RIYADH — Minister of Commerce Dr. Majid Bin Abdullah Al-Qasabi met with the former Prime Minister of Canada Stephen Harper; the Finnish Minister of Development Cooperation and Foreign Trade, Ville Skinnari; the Greek Minister of Development and Investment Adonis Georgiadis, and the Turkish Minister of Treasury and Finance Noureddin Nebt during the 6th Future Investment Initiative (FII6) in Riyadh.

During the meetings, with the participation of the Deputy Minister of Commerce and CEO of the National Competitiveness Center Dr. Iman Bint Habbas Al-Mutairi, Al-Qasabi discussed ways to develop joint relations and enhance trade and economic exchange.

Dr. Al-Qasabi also met with CEO & Chairman of The Blackstone Group Stephen A. Schwarzma, the Group Chief Executive of Standard Chartered PLC, Bill Winter, Vice President of Amazon Middle East and North Africa (MENA) Ronaldo Mouchawar and PepsiCo’s CEO for Africa, Middle East, and South Asia, Eugene Willemsen.

They discussed promoting innovation, developing technologies and industries, along with investing in promising opportunities of the Saudi Vision 2030.

Dr. Al-Qasabi has also met with Chairman of KONE Corporation Antti Herlin, President of Entertainment Media Ventures, Sanford Climan, Chairman of Standard Industrial and David Millon, and Head of the International Department of BNY Hani Kablawi to discuss the fields of business development, e-commerce and technology. — SPA
