HADAF training program set to train nationals in manufacturing aircraft structures

RIYADH — The Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF) signed a training agreement with SAMI FIGEAC AÉRO Manufacturing to train and employ national personnel to work in manufacturing aircraft structures.

This will enable to meet the needs of the industrial sector of trained national personnel in a way that contributes to realizing localization and the sustainability and development of local industries as per the Saudi Vision 2030.

The agreement is a step to activate a memorandum of understanding that HADAF had signed previously with the Saudi Industrial Investments Company (Dussur) and to enhance joint efforts between the fund and the ministries of investment, and the industry and mineral resources, and the General Authority for Military Industries (GAMI).

The support agreement was signed by HADAF Deputy Director for Businesses Firas Aba Al-Kheil and SAMI FIGEAC AÉRO Manufacturing CEO Olivier Sergent, in the presence of HADAF Director Turki Al-Jawini Dussur CEO Dr. Raed Al-Rayyes and FIGEAC CEO Jean-Claude Maillard.

The agreement also stipulated that HADAF will share costs of implementing training programs outside and inside Saudi Arabia to empower Saudis and employ them in professions that can match training majors with the needs of the labor market.

As for coordination, the two sides also agreed to form a joint work team to follow up on implementing the phases and items of the agreement and expanding its implementation in a way that accords with the needs of the human capital at SAMI FIGEAC AÉRO Manufacturing. — SPA
