JEDDAH — King Abdulaziz University students won seven different medals (two gold, two silver, three bronze), and the award for the best foreign invention at the level of the exhibition in a Warsaw event.

KAU students bagged the laurels during the university’s participation in the International Warsaw Invention Show (IWIS) 2022, in its 16th edition, which was held remotely in Warsaw, Poland, this month.

The university students participated in seven inventions in IWIS. The exhibition witnessed a competition of 300 inventions submitted by inventors from 25 countries.

Those entries were subject to arbitration by committees approved by arbitrators specialized in various fields of innovations and inventions. — SPA
