RIYADH — The Ministry of Foreign Affairs expressed Saudi Arabia’s strong condemnation of the terrorist attack on the headquarters of the Somali Ministry of Higher Education.

The Ministry affirms the Kingdom’s full stand with the brotherly Republic of Somalia in the face of all terrorist acts that threaten its security and stability and demands the need for the international community to unite to root out terrorism.

The Kingdom renews its total rejection of all forms of violence, extremism, and terrorism wherever they may be, and expresses its sincere condolences and sympathy to the families of the victims, and the government and people of Somalia while wishing speedy recovery to all those injured, security and stability for Somalia and its brotherly people.

Meanwhile, the Organization of Islamic Cooperation (OIC) too has strongly condemned the terrorist attack that took place Saturday and targeted the headquarters of the Ministry of Education in Somali capital Mogadishu.

OIC Secretary General Hissein Brahim Taha renewed the organization’s unaltered position on terrorism with all its forms, expressing condolences and solidarity with the victims’ families and the Somali government and people, wishing the injured a speedy recovery. — SPA
