MoU on establishment of joint Saudi-Bangladesh Business Council signed

RIYADH — The 14th Saudi-Bangladesh Joint Committee's works were concluded here Monday under the co-chairmanship of the Saudi Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development and the Bangladeshi Ministry of Finance.

Dr. Abdullah Abuthnain, vice minister of human resources and social development for the labor sector, headed the Saudi delegation, and Sharifa Khan, secretary of the economic relations division (ERD) of the Bangladeshi Ministry of Finance, led the Bangladeshi delegation.

The two sides decided to further their bilateral cooperation in a number of fields of shared interest between the two countries in order to achieve the directives of the two leaderships and the ambitions of their two brotherly peoples.

A MoU on the establishment of a joint business council between the Federation of Saudi Chambers and the Federation of Bangladesh Chambers of Commerce and Industry and a MoU on the mutual recognition of seafarers' certificates were signed. — SPA
