Saudi Arabia condemns assassination bid on Imran Khan

RIYADH — Saudi Arabia strongly condemned and denounced the assassination attempt on former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan, the Ministry of Foreign Affairs said in a statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency.

The ministry affirmed Saudi Arabia’s standing with Pakistan and its people in the face of all threats to its security, stability, and development march.

“The Kingdom pledges its support for all efforts aimed at eliminating violence, extremism, and terrorism in all their forms and manifestations,” the statement said while wishing Pakistan and its people safety, stability, and prosperity.
