Saudi, Indonesian ministers discuss boosting energy sector cooperation

RIYADH — Prince Abdulaziz Bin Salman, Saudi Arabia's Minister of Energy, held a virtual meeting with his Indonesian counterpart Arifin Tasrif.

The two ministers emphasized the importance of the brotherly relations between Indonesia and the Kingdom. They noted that Saudi Arabia continues to be a trusted partner and major oil and refined products supplier to Indonesia.

Both ministers stressed the importance of increasing cooperation between the two countries in the energy sector, such as investment opportunities in refining, petrochemicals, electricity and renewables.

In addition to energy efficiency, they discussed raising awareness and knowledge of Circular Carbon Economy’s (CCE) policies and technologies. — SPA
