Saudi Green Initiative exhibition highlights Kingdom's commitment and contributions to climate

SHARM EL-SHEIKH — The exhibition accompanying the forum of Saudi Green Initiative, as part of COP27 Summit held in Sharm El-Sheikh, Egypt, highlights the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia's commitment and effective contributions in the field of climate action and its approach to reducing carbon emissions, and its support for renewable energy sources and clean hydrogen production.

Participating parties in the exhibition, under the theme "From Ambition to Action" reflects the Kingdom's pioneering efforts in developing the circular carbon economy, afforestation and protecting the natural environment in the Kingdom.

The visitors', who toured the exhibition, admiration for the ideas and solutions offered by the Saudi participating parties to combat climate change was appreciated.

It is worth mentioning that the exhibition is an opportunity to explore the diversity and importance of the initiatives being currently implemented in various parts of the Kingdom.

It starts with the establishment of the largest clean hydrogen plant in the world in NEOM, to the successful resettlement programs of the most prominent endangered wildlife in the Kingdom.

Saudi Arabia seeks to achieve the overall objectives of the Saudi Green Initiative and ensure a long-term positive change.

Moreover, the Saudi Green Initiative embodies the Kingdom’s determination in protecting the land and nature while adopting ambitious goals in the coming decades.

They hope to do it in a way that supports improving the quality of life and protecting future generations by increasing reliance on clean energy, neutralizing the effects of oil production and protecting the environment. — SPA
