RIYADH — Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed bin Salman left Riyadh for Indonesia on Monday, leading Saudi Arabia’s delegation participating in the 17th G20 Heads of State and Government Summit, which will be held in Indonesia’s Bali on Nov. 15 and 16.
This is in line with the directives of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques King Salman, according to a Royal Court statement carried by the Saudi Press Agency. This is the first G20 summit to be attended by the Crown Prince after he was named as prime minister of Saudi Arabia.
After attending the summit, the Crown Prince will visit a number of Asian countries, and this is out of his keenness to communicate and strengthen bilateral relations between the Kingdom and these friendly countries.
The visit will be in response to the invitations extended to him. During the visits, the Crown Prince will meet leaders and high-ranking officials of these countries to discuss bilateral relations and issues of common interest.
