Shoura Council panel meets with Peruvian Ambassador

RIYADH — The Saudi-Peruvian Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the Shoura Council met here Thursday with the Peruvian Ambassador to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia, Carlos Rodolfo Zapata Lopez.

The meeting, which was chaired by Council Member and Chairman of the Committee Dr. Ibrahim Bin Mahmoud Al-Nahas discussed ways to enhance bilateral cooperation in parliamentary relations between the Shoura Council and the Peruvian Parliament.

It also called for activating the role of the Parliamentary Friendship Committee in the two countries in a way that contributes to supporting cooperation and joint coordination.

Dr. Al-Nahas and the Peruvian Ambassador stressed the importance of strengthening bilateral relations between the two countries in various fields. — SPA
