HRC chief, Scandinavian envoys discuss cooperation in fields of human rights

RIYADH — The Human Rights Commission (HRC) President Dr. Hala Bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri met here Thursday with a number of ambassadors of Scandinavian countries to the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia.



Finaland’s Ambassador Anu-Eerika Viljanen, Denmark’s Ambassador Liselotte Plesner; Sweden’s Petra Menander, and Norway’s Ambassador Thomas Lid Ball met Dr. Al-Tuwaijri.

During the meeting, they discussed bilateral cooperation relations between Saudi Arabia and friendly countries as well as a number of issues of common interest. They also discussed aspects of cooperation in the fields of human rights and ways of developing and enhancing them. — SPA
