BANGKOK — Deputy Chief Executive Officer of the Bank of Bangkok Dr. Thoelab Ritabirom confirmed that the Economist Leaders Week Forum is a great opportunity for Thailand to receive Crown Prince and Prime Minister Mohammed Bin Salman as guest of honor of the Thai government and a good indicator that the relations between the two kingdoms will become more stronger.

The Economist Leaders Week Forum is organized by the Asia -Pacific Economic Cooperation (APEC) on the sidelines of its summit.

In a statement to the Saudi Press Agency (SPA), on the sidelines of the APEC Economic Leaders Forum Week, currently ongoing in the Thai capital of Bangkok, he said that the relation between the two countries is prospected to witness a considerable boost in the trade and economic areas as more opportunities will be available for Saudi and Thai companies to practice joint economic activity in a number of fields, including petrochemicals, energy, and bio-circular and green economy.

He described the Kingdom Vision 2030 as ambitious and timely, lauding the Kingdom's efforts being exerted towards the climate change issue, including its initiatives in this regard.

He expressed the interest of the Thai private sector to take part together with the public and private sectors of the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia to achieve the objectives of the Saudi Vision 2030. — SPA
