DOHA — The Green Falcons Museum at the Interactive Saudi Arabia House here has documented the historical goals of Saudi players through video clips that were shown to fans of Qatar 2022 FIFA World Cup.

This comes to evoke influential sporting events that are stuck in the memory of Saudis, including video clips of the Saudi national team's goals in the World Cup and the Asian Cup finals. The Saudi team scored 21 goals, 11 of them in the World Cup, across 13 matches in these tournaments.

The museum introduces the Saudi football legends and stars who left their mark on history, by winning the Asian Cup or leading the national team during its six World Cup engagements.

The museum enables fans to take virtual photos with the stars of the Saudi national team participating in Qatar 2022. It displays the Green Falcons’ jerseys during their participation in the World Cup and the Asian Cup finals, in addition to the balls that the national team played with while winning the Asian Cup in 1984, 1988, and 1996.

The museum receives visitors daily from 12:00 noon until 12:00 midnight, offering them more than 21 activities in 10 pavilions, showcasing Saudi culture and arts, folklore, and heritage, in addition to highlighting the superiority of the Saudi sports sector and the capability of the Kingdom, with its advanced infrastructure to host regional and international events. — SPA
