RIYADH —
The Transport General Authority (TGA) stressed that the maximum hours to park the vehicle at Salwa port for those attending the World Cup matches in Qatar is 96 hours only.

TGA has called on everyone to adhere to the parking instructions and not exceeding the vehicle parking period of 96 hourså from the start of their parking time.

TGA confirmed that those violating the parking instructions will be subjected to a fine in addition to the car being towed away.

TGA explained that these instructions are due to the limited number of parking spaces. It noted that people could benefit from the free parking area located at the Qatari side in the Abu Samra port. They can register for a parking spot via Hayya application.

Due to the high demand for parking at the Salwa port, the TGA has asked those wishing to attend the World Cup matches to follow all land transport options to reach the Qatari port through the official account of (@HereForYou_SA) to stay updated with alternative options.
