DOHA — Twitteratis and other users of social media showered the fans of Green Falcons with accolades for their classy initiative and a civilized gesture at the Education City Stadium in Doha, despite the defeat of their favorite homeland team.

The exemplary acts of the fans went viral as many social media activists shared, re-tweeted, and commented on them. It was revealed in the videos that the fans of the Saudi team cleaned up the stands of the Education City Stadium, which witnessed the Saudi national team's match against the Polish national team, in the second round of group stage matches of the World Cup 2022 hosted by the State of Qatar.

The social media users posted videos of the Saudi fans collecting water bottles and leftovers in their stands and gathering them in waste bags. Many Twitteratis praised what the Saudi fans did at the end of the match to provide a lesson to the fans of other teams, noting that this behavior gives a positive image of the morals and a higher level of hygiene awareness among the Saudi fans.
