Saudi Gazette report

DOHA — Saudi defender Abdulelah Al-Maliki will miss the match against Mexico Wednesday, after getting a second yellow card in the match against Poland on Saturday.

A defensive lapse by Al-Maliki just outside the box opened the door for the Polish Captain Robert Lewandowski. The Barcelona striker scored the second goal in the 82nd minute of the match.

Coach Renard will choose the appropriate substitute for Al-Maliki during the training sessions that will precede the crucial match against Mexico, of which the victory would enable the Green Falcons to qualify for the knockout pre-quarter round of 16 teams.
