RIYADH — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh held a meeting with Sheikh Abdul Rahman Bin Mohammed Bin Rashid Al Khalifa, Chairman of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain.
The meet was attended by the Minister of Justice, Islamic Affairs and Endowments Nawaf Bin Mohammed Al-Maawda and several members of the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs, within the framework of his current visit to Bahrain to sign the executive program for cooperation in Islamic fields between the two countries.
Sheikh Al Khalifa appreciated the pivotal Saudi role under the leadership of Custodian of the Two Holy Mosques and the Crown Prince in defending the nation, its entity, its values and constants, and its exceptional role in serving the Two Holy Mosques, and the holy sites, and caring for pilgrims, Umrah performers and visitors.
For his part, Dr. Al-Sheikh expressed his thanks to Bahrain, its leadership, and its people, praising the strong relations between the two countries, expressing his appreciation for the Supreme Council for Islamic Affairs in Bahrain, and the vital role it plays in serving Islamic causes.
He noted that the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance has worked to spread the principles of tolerance by concluding many agreements with several Islamic countries and that the Kingdom has become a role model in applying the concept of tolerance and rejecting hatred. — SPA
