NCM forecast: Most Saudi regions to witness weather fluctuations in coming days

RIYADH — The National Center of Meteorology (NCM) issued an alert about the possibility of weather fluctuations in most regions of Saudi Arabia from Wednesday until Friday.

NCM expects that the inclement weather will be accompanied by thunderstorms, hails, and dust that could lead to low visibility.

The center said that parts of the regions of Makkah, Al-Baha, Al-Madinah, Hail, Northern Borders, Al-Qassim, Riyadh and Asir will witness moderate to heavy rains that will lead to torrential rains, starting from Wednesday evening until Thursday morning.

It pointed out that the rains would be moderate starting on Thursday and Friday in parts of the regions of Riyadh, Madinah, Northern Borders, Al-Jouf and the Eastern Region.

The report stated that snow is likely to fall, starting from Thursday evening and on Friday, on the heights of Tabuk region, with decrease in temperatures and frost blanketing parts of the regions of Tabuk, Al-Jouf, the Northern Borders, Hail and Al-Madinah.
