RIYADH — The Transport General Authority (TGA) has called on the Saudi men and women to benefit from the freelancing support programs in delivery apps.

TGA said that the program targets full-time Saudi workers in this activity, and also those who are looking for a job, noting that the support is provided from the Human Resources Development Fund (HADAF).

This is one of the goals of TGA in cooperation with HADAF to contribute in increasing the localizing levels through covering the need in this vital and promising activity, and also to help in finding new job opportunities in accordance with different work patterns.

TGA clarified that it has confirmed 16 approved apps in delivery activities, in order to qualify the applicants to this initiative, and also to provide opportunities for men and women to benefit from the monthly support which reaches SR3,000 per month if the applicant delivered 30 orders at least in a month.

It has added that those who wish to benefit from the program can register in one of the 16 approved apps by TGA, and to make sure that they meet with the requirements of the program and fulfill its conditions.

The program conditions requires that the applicant must be Saudi, not a retired employee, not working in the government or private sector, not a regular student, and must not be having a private job, and not be currently benefiting from one of the support programs offered by HADAF to support employment.

The applicant must obtain a freelance document through registering in the national platform of freelancing: freelance.sa.
