RIYADH — The President of the Human Rights Commission (HRC) Dr. Hala Bint Mazyad Al-Tuwaijri received here Tuesday the delegation of the European Parliament Committee on Foreign Affairs headed by the Chairman of the Committee, David McAllister.

He was accompanied by the head of the Delegation for Relations with the Arabian Peninsula in the European Parliament Dr. Hannah Neumann, currently on a visit to the KIngdom.

During the meeting, the two sides discussed a number of issues of common interest, aspects of bilateral cooperation, especially in the field of human rights, and ways to develop and enhance it.

Dr. Al-Tuwaijri briefed the delegation of the European Parliament on the Kingdom's efforts and achievements in supporting, promoting and protecting human rights, and the developments it is witnessing in various fields. — SPA
