Dr. Al-Sheikh stresses need to implement Khair Ummah recommendations

BALI — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdul Latif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh met with Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs of the Republic of Indonesia Dr. Zain Al-Tawhid Saeed, here, with Saudi Arabia’s Ambassador Issam Abed Al-Thaqafi attending.

Dr. Al-Sheikh stressed the importance of coordination and follow-up to implement the recommendations of the final statement of second ASEAN International Conference "Khair Ummah", which was organized by the Ministry of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance, in cooperation with the Indonesian Ministry of Religious Affairs and achieved a great success with the participation of 130 figures including ministers, muftis, and heads of universities, Islamic centers and associations.

For his part, the Indonesian Deputy Minister of Religious Affairs hailed the efforts exerted by the Saudi ministry to make the conference a success in its current session, appreciating Saudi Arabia’s efforts to support everything that contributes to the service of Islam and Muslims around the world. — SPA
