RIYADH — Speaker of the Shoura Council Sheikh Dr. Abdullah Bin Mohammed Bin Ibrahim Al-Sheikh arrived Sunday in Ankara, Turkiye, at the invitation of Speaker of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye Mustafa Sentop.

Upon his arrival at Ankara International Airport, he was received by a number of senior officials of the Grand National Assembly of Turkiye.

In a press statement, the Speaker of the Shoura Council praised the historical ties of friendship between the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and the Republic of Turkiye.

He stressed the significance of holding regular meetings and maintaining open lines of communication between the two councils in order to advance bilateral cooperation between the two states and strengthen parliamentary relations and coordination regarding matters of shared interest. — SPA
