JEDDAH — Muslim World League (MWL) and Makkah Clock Towers have signed a cooperation agreement in the scientific and cultural fields.
The agreement was signed in the presence of MWL Secretary-General, Chairman of the Board of Directors of Museums and International Exhibitions of the Prophet’s Biography and Islamic Civilization Sheikh Dr. Mohammed bin Abdul Karim Al-Issa.
The agreement, which was signed by MWL Undersecretary for Executive Affairs Nayef Al-Sharif and Makkah Clock Towers CEO Abdulaziz Al-Mousa, aims to highlight the contents of the Prophet’s biography and the ancient Islamic civilization through various means, including technical displays, museums, atlases, sculptures, collectibles, and publications in various international languages.
Dr. Al-Issa explained that this agreement comes based on what MWL possesses of scientific and documentary content with advanced modern presentations, supported by distinguished expertise that extended to unique global activities in galleries and museums dedicated to serving the Prophet’s biography and the rich Islamic history, especially since the Kingdom possesses the exclusive documentary source of the most important and prominent chapters of the Islamic history.
He pointed out that this cooperation comes in line with the Kingdom's Vision 2030, and the interest it bears in enriching the faith motive of pilgrims, Umrah performers, and visitors, including introducing the honorable prophetic biography and the ancient Islamic civilization.
It also aims to shed light on an important example of the historical and exceptional efforts made by the Kingdom to serve Islamic affairs in general and these spiritual and scientific issues in particular. — SPA
