RIYADH — Minister of Islamic Affairs, Call and Guidance Sheikh Dr. Abdullatif Bin Abdulaziz Al-Sheikh met here Monday with Gambia’s Minister of Religious Affairs Sheriff Abba Sanyang, and his accompanying delegation, currently visiting Saudi Arabia.

During the meeting, the two sides exchanged a number of issues of common interest, especially those related to the situations of Muslims in Gambia, and ways of joint cooperation to serve Islamic action in its various fields.

For his part, the Gambian expressed thanks and appreciation of the government of his country for Saudi Arabia’s leadership for the efforts it provides to Islam and Muslims, as well as the humanitarian aid being provided to the needy people. — SPA
