KAUST Academy trains Saudi undergraduate students on AI

THUWAL — KAUST Academy has launched specialized trainings in Artificial Intelligence (AI) for Saudi undergraduate students.

As part of the program KAUST Academy will identify the top AI talent in the country and provide training and mentorship to develop the talented students to take up leadership in the field in AI.

The first leg of this program was run in Nov 2022 in which 450 students participated, and 150 students were shortlisted for further training.

KAUST Academy, in partnership with SDAIA and Mohammad Alagil, has organized an advanced AI training camp at KAUST for the shortlisted students.

The best students from this training will be invited for 8-week long summer program at Lady Margaret Hall, University of Oxford and KAUST. — SG
