RIYADH — The number of approved civil engineers in Saudi Arabia is 48,762 the Saudi Council of Engineers (SCE) said.

According to Al-Eqtisiadiah, SCE said that the number of electronic and communications engineers in the Kingdom is 9,137, while the number of electrical engineers is 34,440. The number of computer engineers is 8,496.

SCE mentioned that the office system and engineering companies allow the electronic submission to request for issuing a license for an engineering office, and completing its services without the need to pay a visit to the authority.

It has stated that this came due to its keenness in completing the offices' requests in a short time, such as requests for opening offices, renewing a license, opening a branch, renewing a branch, modifying name, canceling a license, stopping an activity and many more.
