RIYADH — Ministry of Human Resources and Social Development (MHRSD) has confirmed that the workers transfer will be done automatically in the event of transferring the ownership of the establishment with the same commercial registry.

MHRSD clarified that the steps of transferring the ownership includes visiting the labor office, transferring the file of the previous owner to (under procedure), then opening a file for the new owner.

It has also noted that, according to the subject 40 from the Saudi Labor Law, the worker is not responsible for any government fees imposed on the employer.
