Shoura’s Saudi-Indian panel discusses parliamentary cooperation

RIYADH — The Saudi-Indian Parliamentary Friendship Committee of the Shoura Council, chaired by member of the Shoura Council and chairman of the Committee Khalid Bin Mohammed Al-Bawardi, held a meeting here Tuesday with India’s Ambassador Suhel Ajaz Khan, and a number of officials at the embassy.

The meeting discussed ways to enhance bilateral relations between Saudi Arabia and India in various fields, especially parliamentary relations and cooperation between the Shoura Council and the Indian Parliament.

The two sides stressed the importance of strengthening relations and parliamentary cooperation between the Shoura Council and the Indian Parliament to enhance bilateral relations between the two countries.

They also affirmed the need to increase bilateral coordination in various international and regional parliamentary forums. — SPA
