A new film titled "Shotgun Wedding", starring world-famous singer and actress Jennifer Lopez, the owner of the brand “J.Lo by Jennifer Lopez”, confirms through the film a global trend to market countries and their tourist resorts through cinema and world-famous movie stars.

“Shotgun Wedding” promoted the Philippines, the origin of Lopez, and hundreds of spectacular islands for all kinds of tourism and entertainment around the world in competition with other countries and tourist spots.

The film "Ticket to Paradise" promoted the island of Bali in Indonesia. However, Tom Cruise’s film "Mission Impossible" promoted the Dubai culture, tourism, sports and entertainment which overlap and are positively affected by the media, especially cinema, reflecting a great image on countries, people, cultures and creating a global mental image.

Saudi Arabia succeeded in raising a new mental image worldwide, particularly in the Arab and Islamic world, America, Europe and Asia by hosting championships such as Formula 1, Dakar Rally, Formula E, the Italian Super Cup in which AC Milan and Inter Milan Clubs participated, and the Spanish Super Cup in which Real Madrid, Barcelona, Valencia, and Real Betis clubs played.

Perhaps the latest event was the Riyadh Season Cup match between the stars of Al-Hilal and Al-Nasr clubs and the French team Paris Saint-Germain, in which the most important football stars in the world today participated. Portuguese Cristiano Ronaldo, who recently joined Al-Nasr, Brazilian Neymar, Argentina's Lionel Messi, and the French star Kylian Mbappe all played in the match.

All of these events affect the quality of life, investment and work opportunities in entertainment and sports sectors and open up great prospects beyond media and cultural fanfare for Saudi Arabia around the world.
