RIYADH — Deputy Minister for Public Diplomacy Sara Al-Sayed received on Thursday Japan’s ambassador to the Kingdom Iwai Fumio.

They reviewed relations between the two countries and issues of common interest.

Al-Sayed was appointed as deputy minister for public diplomacy at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs recently.

Prior to her latest appointment, Al-Sayed served as assistant deputy minister for international collaboration at the Ministry of Health from 2019, and she held the position of director-general for international collaboration two years before that. — SG
