RIYADH -- Advisor at the Royal Court and Supervisor General of King Salman Humanitarian Aid and Relief Center (KSrelief) Dr. Abdullah Bin Abdulaziz Al Rabeeah met here Sunday with two leaders and discussed bilateral issues.
First, he met Minister of Foreign Affairs, International Cooperation, African Integration and Guineans Abroad of the Republic of Guinea Dr. Morissanda Kouyaté.
And later, he met with Commissioner-General of the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) Philippe Lazzarini.
During the meeting with the Guinea minister, they discussed cooperation and joint coordination in humanitarian and relief affairs, and mechanisms to support humanitarian action in Guinea.
The minister praised the Kingdom’s effective and humanitarian role at the international level, praising KSrelief’s efforts to alleviate the suffering of the needy and affected people around the world.
During the meeting with Lazzarini, they discussed issues of common interest related to relief and humanitarian efforts and ways to enhance cooperation between KSrelief and the UNRWA.
They also discussed UNRWA’s participation in the 3rd Riyadh International Humanitarian Forum, scheduled to be held next February. — SPA
