RIYADH — Minister of Municipal, Rural Affairs and Housing Majed Al-Hogail said that the National Housing Company (NHC) will offer 80,000 housing units in Al-Fursan District and the second phase of Khozam District in Riyadh for Saudi households.
The company announced on Monday the development of Al-Fursan District and the second phase of Khozam District in Riyadh, which offer the largest real estate supply in the Saudi capital.
Al-Fursan District located 35 kilometers northeast of Riyadh, spans a total area of 35 million square meters and aims to build more than 50,000 residential units for more than 250,000 people.
Khozam District, located in the north of Riyadh on a total area of over 21 million square meters, plans to build 30,000 homes for 150,000 people. NHC expected the delivery of these units to start in early 2026.
NHC intends to increase home supply in the Kingdom, particularly Riyadh, Saudi Press Agency (SPA) reported.
This comes in line with the objectives of the Kingdom’s housing program, which strives to raise the home ownership percentage among Saudi households from to 70 percent by 2030.
